Description

The birth of chutney! At a Mattikoor in 1969 Sundar Popo (bhajan singer) met Moean Mohammed, a popular radio personality. Mohammed with impressed with the style of hindi and english music and organised a recording at a TV studio along with BWIA (now Caribbean Airlines) Orchestra. The song revolutionized East Indian music in Trinidad & Tobago forever and his songs still play every year in the Caribbean.
