Rani Datai Advocates Proper Pronunciation When Doing Hindustani, Hindi, Punjabi Covers in the following statement:

One thing that bothers me very much.. “PRONUNCIATION”.

I noticed that more and more artists among us cover songs or make songs in Hindustani, Hindi, Punjabi and you name it; but really, the pronunciation is often completely incorrect! In some cases I don’t even understand what is being sung anymore.. That level of bad pronunciation.

We live in a different time, so I can imagine some of you are not fluent in the languages. However, I believe that you can ALWAYS listen to the original song and learn more about the song and the grammar for your own pronunciation.

Be critical of your own singing skills!!!

I said what I said cause I had to. Also, I think there are more people who noticed this so please don’t feel attacked, let’s just work on it. 🙏🏽
