I would like to extend my greatest thanks to Sangeet 106fm for the amazing opportunities granted by and through the Sangeet Chutney CUP competition. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the persons that supported me through this journey with their likes and shares, I couldn’t have reached the Fourth spot without you all. I encourage everyone to continue the support of Mr. Smood by subscribing to, and liking my YouTube and Facebook pages to keep hearing all of the music I have to offer in the future. In closing, I would like to extend congratulations to the winner of the competition Devashish Ramdath keep up the good work.
My name is Vishad Paryag, currently I reside in Princes Town and I am a new and upcoming artiste in the Trinidad and Tobago music industry. As a young musician/entertainer I continue to harness and excel in my skills as a keyboardist, song writer, DJ, producer and instructor.
Presently, I am employed at the Trinidad and Tobago Blind Welfare Association holding the position of music instructor where I am blessed with the opportunity to teach persons who are blind or visually impaired. As a visually impaired person myself, music continues to play a significant part in my life. I was motivated to become an artiste due to the support from family and friends and started singing over two years ago by the stage name, Mr. Smood.
To date, I have successfully released two songs; the most recent song is titled “Venes In Trinidad”. As a young music artiste, my aim is to make a significant, sustainable and positive contribution to the music industry in Trinidad and Tobago and by extension, the promotion and proliferation of Caribbean music on a whole. I strongly believe my strong work ethics and unwavering love for music will make me a suitable candidate for The Sangeet Chutney Cup 2020 and would love the opportunity to showcase my talent.
Thanking you in advance for your kind consideration.
With Kindest Regards
Stage name: Mr. Smood
