Should Menstruating Women be allowed in Pooja?

The most common reason for not being allowed in the temple during menstruation is “you’re dirty”. Let’s break down the reasoning behind another man made tradition today.
WAY BACK in the day, things like sanitary napkins didn’t exist. Even a basic pad that we know today didn’t exist. Women had nothing except a cloth. For this reason, the blood would obviously stain their clothes and they were considered “dirty”.
Fast track to today’s times, this ancient man made tradition still exists. With absolutely no reference to any religious text and no valid reason for not allowing women in the temple whilst on their period.
It’s time we break man made traditions. The Goddesses were female too ❤️
