Could True Love be the Reason for Omardath’s Hiatus?

On Friday 21st September 2018, Joint 2017 Chutney Soca Monarch, Omardath Maraj shocked the Chutney Music world when announced that he was taking a break from actively recording music. More of that story here.  The Chutney Soca artist took  to Facebook to remonstrate his disgust with the “Fight Down” in the Chutney Music Industry.

But “Fight Down” is not unique to the Chutney Music industry and his counterparts in the Soca music industry have expressed similar sentiments. In fact, any space that has major players jousting for advantageous positions will see some resorting to dirty tactics.

So is it really “Fight Down”? ChutneyMusic.Com would like to surmise otherwise! We believe that the reason is that singer has renewed himself through True Love. The singer gushes about his lady love (name withheld) on his instagram stating:

“2 is better dan 1. Team together we shall be the best in everything we set out to be. God greatest blessing was meeting you..”

In fact, it would seem that the couple has big plans for the future:

Come what may! We here at ChutneyMusic.Com wish Omardath and his beautiful better half, all the best in future endeavours 💖
