PJ Principal, Mr Jay Poitras (Mr. P) lauded the Fair’s Co-Chairs, Heather Costello and Dee Cook, who are also members of the schools Parents Teachers Association (PTA). He further recognised this year’s PTA members for their commitment to
enriching the school for students, staff and other parents as follows:

Co-Chairs: Tara Bishop and Jackie Koopmans-Hennessy
Secretary: Meghan Grondin-Stocks
Treasurer: Cindy Powell
Members: Dee Cook, Jason Manayathu, Nancy Collins, Andrea Fox, Jeff Dowhan, Andrea Kendrick, Heather Costello,
Sarah Tucci, Stacey Heslop, Susan Kirwin, Karen Fair, Lindsay Whittingstall

The yeoman service of the volunteers and staff coupled with the generosity of patrons made the fair a success and
a donation of $700 was made to the registered charity, Halton Food for Thought. Halton Food for Thought mission is to feed students healthy food so they can succeed. Twenty six gift baskets were also given randomly to attendees via prize draw

In closing, Mr. P stated that it was great to meet new families and reconnect with the parents we don’t always get to see (it was nice to see the ones we see everyday, too). The event succeeded in building the community which had not met in such a manner
for over two years due to Covid.
