8 year old Katelin Sultan of Trinidad and Tobago won the title of Chutneymusic.com Rajkumari 2023 or CRC Rajkumari 2023. Rajkumari is the hindi word for Princess.
She created history by becoming the first ever Rajkumari or Princess in the competition’s two year history. She was the only contestant brave enough to enter the 2023 Chutneymusic.com Rajkumari Competition.
Katelin’s 2023 Chutney Soca song “Tell Dem Ah Ready” is apt name for her, as the youngster’s singing career continues to blaze a trail and set positive examples for young ladies.
Competition organiser, Jason “DJ Floops” Sookram praises the Sultan family for their work ethic and ability to produce high quality content on a consistent basis. He further stated that he hopes more young ladies 18 years and younger enter CRC 2024. For more information on CRC 2023, see here.
