महालक्ष्मी अष्टकम – लक्ष्मी के महानतम स्वरूप के आठवां चरण (शुभ लक्षणों की निशानी)
1. महान माया को सलाम (गुणों से रहित परम ब्रह्म की शक्ति)। उसका निवास स्थान कोई और नहीं, बल्कि श्री पीठ या श्री चक्र है। वह शंख (स्थूल अभिव्यक्ति का प्रतीक) और डिस्क (महान ज्ञान का प्रतीक) रखती है। मैं पूरी श्रद्धा के साथ श्री महा लक्ष्मी की पूजा करता हूं।
2. पतंग (गरुड़) की सवारी लक्ष्मी को नमस्कार। वह वह है जिसने अज्ञानता के प्रतीक कोला दानव को नष्ट कर दिया, वह मन शरीर और आत्मा की सभी कुटिलता को दूर करता है। मैं श्री महा लक्ष्मी की सभी आज्ञाओं के साथ पूजा करता हूं।
3. वह सर्वोच्च ज्ञान है, और सभी इच्छाओं को पूरा करने वाला, वह सभी दुष्टों का नाश करने वाला है। वह मानव जाति के सभी दुखों को दूर करती है। मैं पूरी श्रद्धा के साथ श्री महा लक्ष्मी की पूजा करता हूं।
4. वह आध्यात्मिक दिव्यता और विवेकशील बुद्धि प्रदान करता है। वह मुक्ति या मोक्ष के लिए बुद्धि देता है। वह सभी मंत्रों का अवतार है। मैं पूरी श्रद्धा के साथ श्री महा लक्ष्मी की पूजा करता हूं।
5. वह शुरुआत और अंत से रहित है। वह ब्रह्मांडीय सृजन की मूल ऊर्जा है। वह सभी योगों की दिव्य अग्नि (ब्रह्मांडीय इच्छा) है और वह योगियों के मन में है। मैं पूरी श्रद्धा के साथ श्री महा लक्ष्मी की पूजा करता हूं।
6. वह वह है जो सकल सूक्ष्म सार्वभौमिक अभिव्यक्ति में प्रकट होता है और सृजन का घातक बल है। वह ब्रह्मांड की सर्वोच्च ऊर्जा है। वह व्यक्ति को प्रगति (पापा) के सभी सबसे बड़े नुकसानों से ऊपर उठाता है।
मैं पूरी श्रद्धा के साथ श्री महा लक्ष्मी की पूजा करता हूं।
7. वह पद्मासन की योग मुद्रा में आसक्त है। वह सभी गुणों से रहित, सर्वोच्च ब्रह्म का प्रतीक है। वह ब्रह्माण्ड की सर्वोच्च संपत्ति और समस्त सृष्टि की माता है। मैं पूरी श्रद्धा के साथ श्री महा लक्ष्मी की पूजा करता हूं।
8. सांख्य दर्शन के सुधा सातव के प्रतीक श्वेत वस्त्रों में उनकी पूजा की जाती है। वह ब्रह्मांड के अंतर रचनाओं का प्रतीक सभी अलंकरण के साथ प्यार करती है। वह समय और स्थान से बंधे सभी ब्रह्मांडों और सभी कृतियों की मां की उत्पत्ति है। मैं श्री महा लक्ष्मी की भक्ति के साथ पूजा करता हूं।
9. यह श्री महा लक्ष्मी का 8 श्लोक है। वह जो इन भजनों को सभी भक्ति के साथ पढ़ता है (समझता है) सभी इच्छाओं (शारीरिक, मानसिक, आध्यात्मिक) और मोक्ष के आध्यात्मिक साम्राज्य को प्राप्त करेगा।
10. यदि दिन में एक बार सभी 8 दोषों को दूर कर लिया जाए तो इन 8 नारों का पाठ किया जाता है। यदि इनका दिन में दो बार पाठ किया जाए तो सभी भौतिक समृद्धि प्राप्त होती है।
11. यदि इन 8 नारों को दिन में तीन बार सुनाया जाए तो वह शत्रुता और घृणा के सभी गुणों से रहित हो जाएगा। इस श्री महा लक्ष्मी को हम सभी अपनी प्रसन्नता और पूर्ण गुणों के साथ प्रकट करें।
Mahalaksmi Ashtakam – Eight Stanzas of The Greatest Form of Lakshmi (The Sign of Auspicious Fortune)
1. Salutations to the Great Maya (the power of Supreme Brahman devoid of qualities). Her abode is none other than Sri Peetha or Sri Chakra. She holds the Conch (symbolizing the gross manifestation) and the Disc (symbolizing the great wisdom). I worship Sri Maha Lakshmi with all devotion.
2. Salutations to Lakshmi riding the Kite (Garuda). She is the one who destroyed Kola Demon, the symbol of ignorance, She removes all the crookedness of mind body and soul. I worship Sri Maha Lakshmi with all obedience.
3. She is the supreme knowledge, and fulfiller of all desires, she is the destroyer of all wicked things. She removes all sorrow of the mankind. I worship Sri Maha Lakshmi with all devotion.
4. She provides the spiritual divinity and the discriminative intellect. She gives the intellect for the liberation or moksha. She is the embodiment of all mantras. I worship Sri Maha Lakshmi with all devotion.
5. She is devoid of beginning and ending. She is the primordial energy of the cosmic creation. She is the divine fire (Cosmic will) of the all yogas and she dawns in the minds of yogis. I worship Sri Maha Lakshmi with all devotion.
6. She is the one who manifests in the Gross Subtle Universal manifestation and is the deadly force of the Creation. She is the Supreme energy of the Cosmos. She elevates the individual from all the greatest pitfalls of progress (papa).
I worship Sri Maha Lakshmi with all devotion.
7. She is adored in the yogic posture of padmaasana. She is the symbol of Supreme Brahman, devoid of all attributes. She is the Supreme wealth of the cosmos and the Mother of all creation. I worship Sri Maha Lakshmi with all devotion.
8. She is worshipped in white clothes symbolizing the Sudha Satva of Samkhya Darshana. She is adored with all ornamentation symbolizing differential creations of cosmos. She is the genesis of all the Cosmos bound by time and space and the mother of all creations. I worship Sri Maha Lakshmi with devotion.
9. This is the 8 slokaas of Sri Maha Lakshmi. He who reads (understands) these slokaas with all devotion will obtain all the desires (physical, mental, spiritual), and the Spiritual Kingdom of Moksha.
10. If these 8 slokaas are recited once a day all pitfalls are removed. If these are recited twice a day all physical prosperity is achieved.
11. If these 8 slokaas are recited thrice a day he will be devoid of all qualities of enmity and hatred. Let this Sri Maha Lakshmi manifest in us with all her pleasantness and fulfilling qualities.
